Abstract: With the development of railway freight station, there must be some optimization problems of resources allocation under different situations. Different layout optimization objectives which aimed at minimizing the total cost based on the different situations are put forward under the constraints of freight demand, capacity of rail freight station and scale of the whole station. SoftwareILOG is used to solve this mixed integrate programming model. This study showed that the optimization ideas and method of this study can provide basis for decision making of freight station optimization problem.
