Abstract: In order to improve thermal environment of dormitory and amend the disadvantages in the dormitory, this paper introduces some green though to the design of Chinese college dormitory from two aspects: bettering the outdoor environments and optimum the dormitory design. Furthermore, the paper proposes some methods for the green dormitory design that are simple and effective for architects.
