Classification of All Cyclic Codes over the Finite Chain Ring Z4+wZ4 of Length 4s

Abstract: The study of cyclic codes over finite chain rings is becoming more and more important in the coding theory. Codes over rings have been studied extensively in the past decade. In this study, cyclic codes of length 4s over the finite chain ring R = Z4+wZ4 are studied. By using ideals from the residue ring all cyclic codes of length 4s over the ring R are classified into 16 types and their structures in each of those cyclic codes are obtained.
