Study of the Diffserv/RLM Cohabitation
Mekkakia Maaza Zoulikha

Abstract: This research present the study of reaction to the congestion in a multi-layer multi-media transmission, ensured by RLM protocol on a network topology supporting the differentiated services model (DiffServ). Various simulations show that with DiffServ equity inter protocol and intra protocol is assured. And using the separation of the aspect controls from the aspect traffic, DiffServ architecture cohabits with architecture multicast. Finally, this study shows that the association of two DiffServ/RLM architectures is possible. It is a promising solution to ensure a negotiated quality of service.
