Jayashree Sreenivasan, A. Solucis Santhapparaj and Sharon Bains

Abstract:
The main purpose of this research was to study the workers` perspective on TQM practices in a leading cell manufacturing company (Malaysia). Two hundred respondents were selected as samples from a mobile company. Descriptive study was done and the findings in general indicated that the workers did not have very strong positive opinion about the functioning of TQM in the company whereas the company has proved that TQM practices were very successful. If the company makes more effort, it is possible to improve the existing situation. TQM practices can have excellent results if the workers understand its practices with commitment and involvement.
