An Enhanced Markov-chain-modeled Motion Estimation Algorithm by using Support Vector Machine

Abstract:
In this study, for improving the performance of Motion Estimation (ME), a new Markov-Chain-Model based motion estimation method is proposed with a multi-class Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification network constructed to get one-step transition probabilities among initial prediction states used in this algorithm. Experimental results show that it is efficient to use the constructed SVM network in the Markov-Chain-Modeled Motion Estimation algorithm to various tested sequences.
