Macrofungal Diversity of Ardahan and Iğdır Province (Turkey)

The present study is based on the macrofungi specimens, collected from different biotope of Ardahan and Iğdır provinces of Turkey, between 2000-2001. As a result of field and laboratory studies, 78 taxa were identified and the previous reports on 61 taxa in the study area were added. Total 139 taxa belonging to 35 families in Myxomycetes, Pezizomycetes and Agaricomycetes were presented as a list. Seventy eight of them are new for the province. Cortinarius uraceus Fr. (Cortinariaceae) is determined as a new record for Turkish macromycota.
