A CASE OF PLAGIARISM (Case No. 07012011)
Professor Ghazi Shukur from Linnaeus University, Sweden pointed out a plagiarism in a paper published in Asian Journal of Mathematics and Statistics Volume 4 Number 3, 128-139, 2011.
On the receipt of Professor Ghazi Shukurs letter, the case forwarded to the Ethics Committee of the Science Alert. As per the report of the Ethics Committee, article entitled "The efficiency of some alternative ridge estimators for seemingly unrelated regressions" authored by Moawad El-Fallah Abd El-Salam from Department of Statistics and Mathematics and Insurance, Faculty of Commerce, Zagazig University, Egypt published in Asian Journal of Mathematics and Statistics Volume 4 Number 3, 128-139, 2011, contains substantial sections of text that have been taken verbatim from earlier publication without clear and unambiguous attribution.
