| The aim of Research Journal of Toxins is to publish original research papers, short communications and critical review articles on the occurrence, isolation, identification and characterization of natural products with toxic activities. Particular emphasis is placed on evaluating the significance of the effects of such toxicants on human health. Areas of research covered by the journal include the biochemistry, biosynthesis, chemistry, epidemiology, immunology, metabolism, microbiology, nutritional relevance, pharmacology, and pathophysiology of various classes of natural toxicants and the therapeutic applications of natural toxicants in medicine and biology.
