CherraredD. 6201036An effective algorithm, which combined an adaptive centrifugal force algorithm with accelerated random search method, is proposed to update numerical models for dynamics problems. The objective is to minimize the difference between measured and simulated vibration data. The related problem is formulated as an optimization problem by considering multi-objective function defined in modal domain. A simulated beam structure is examined to test the applicability of the new approach for FE model updating applying multi-objective criteria. A real beam-like structure model is updated, making use of experimental modal data. The application of the centrifugal force algorithm enables us to obtain results well correlated with experiments in reduced time.]]>Appel, M.J., R. Labarre and D.
