I have found all this information very interesting..the rural studies tutor at Bletchley Park college in 1960 had a salamander in a large aquarium. It never moved and survived on maggots. It had yellow markings. ?? Are there any. Axlotls in U.K. Is there a breeding programme in U.K.?
