Since 1972 I renew my request to conduct an expedition to the Tassili plateau in order to complete the census of 1971-1972, in vain.
Just for the decades 2000, shipments for 2002 and 2007 have not received any positive response - no response at all to be precise.
I do not know if the mission could take place in fall 2012 will materialize.
To return to the work of Anne Diara and to my knowledge, the cones used for its analysis of the two did not come from cypress Duprez deu small green space adjacent to the laboratories of geology and botany of the Faculty of the University of Algiers. I write well: to my knowledge which means until further notice.
In the late 1960s, during several interviews, Anne Diara had expressed its keen interest in the Tassili cypress.
